Feliz Navidad! It's Christmastime in Sonoma! (Monday, December 21, 2015)

Dear Mom, family, friends, and loved ones (that should include everyone),

Merry Christmas! Wow. It's here. Even though I've been seeing the lights and hearing the songs and delivering goodies to friends and neighbors, it still didn't quite hit me. And honestly it still hasn't completely hit yet, but every day that passes makes me realize more and more that Christmas isn't just a pleasant story to tell once a year; Jesus Christ really did come into the world as a child in the most humble of circumstances and because of that simple and serene moment, everything before and since has changed.

One of my favorite things about Christmas is seeing Christmas lights. I don't know, they just make me really happy inside and fill me with peace and joy. Jesus Christ is the light of the world and because He was born, we have the opportunity to have peace and joy. Not to say that every moment of our lives will be completely peaceful and serene, but the only way we ever even have a chance at those feelings is because of Jesus Christ. And that is why we celebrate. I know that He was born and that He lives, and He loves all of us. Find Him this Christmas season and discover why He was born, because it will change your life if you let it.

Well, see you soon! Lots of love and wishes for the merriest Christmas yet!

My lovely companion, it's raining! And Merry Christmas from me to you
(: love you!

Video

We had to send a quick video clip to our mission president for
Christmas (it's a surprise for him) because all he ever wants when his
kids ask what he wants for Christmas is happy kids (sound familiar?)
So we all said why we are happy and they're going to make it a video
for him. Anyway, it also made me think of you and dad so merry
Christmas and I hope you have a clean house and wonderful children
this year. Love you!
